EnerStars is a family-owned business founded by Ricardo Butrón, with roots dating back to 2010 in California under The GasketStars. The company began by providing services through energy efficiency programs for local utility companies such as PG&E, participating as a preferred contractor and helping businesses reduce energy consumption while improving performance.
In 2016, the vision expanded with the creation of Energy Stars, growing beyond energy efficiency into broader electrical and technology solutions. In 2021, the company relocated to Texas, evolving into EnerStars LLC, now operating as EnerStars Lighting & More.
Today, EnerStars proudly serves The Woodlands, TX and surrounding areas, combining over 14 years of industry experience with a dedicated team that has been working together locally for more than four years. The company focuses on delivering modern, high-quality solutions in lighting, electrical, smart home automation, security systems and networking—helping homeowners and businesses upgrade their spaces with reliability, precision and a forward-thinking approach.
